John P. Flynn, MD
Dr. John Flynn is a Kansas City-based facial plastic surgeon who performs both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures for the face, head, and neck. An Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at The University of Kansas, Dr. Flynn is highly experienced in cosmetic surgery options like a lower facelift, blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty, as well as more complex treatment plans involving Mohs reconstruction, ear reconstruction, and facial trauma repair. He is especially passionate about facial nerve rehabilitation and specializes in the treatment and management of facial paralysis disorders. Following completion of his undergraduate education and residency at The University of Texas San Antonio and The University of Kansas respectively, Dr. Flynn was awarded a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is active in clinical research furthering the treatment of facial paralysis and maximizes patient care by using a multidisciplinary team approach. Dr. Flynn also belongs to national professional organizations including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
